While there are many different doors most of them are only available from specific sources.

Doors are a placeable object type that have a togglable open and close state.
So i want a door that regardless of npc s will keep livestock locked.
Though you should probably be careful when there are monsters at your door as you will open the door now when you come too close.
Maybe i should just use a wall switch to open and close that door.

Floor buttons can be crafted at the wiring station or in some dungeons like the apex testing labs.
Npcs flick switches all the time its really.
Press j to jump to the feed.
Simply create two floor buttons and attach them to either side of the door with the wiring tool.
Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts.

Im already using proximity sensors for most doors.
The problem is that the same proximity can be triggered by livestock.
